The Arrow version of Oldboy is region locked, isn’t it?

What’s that mean it’s locked? In regards to dvds

it means that it won't be playable outside of the region it was intended to be sold in. for instance, american criterions aren't playable on european blu-ray or dvd players unless you've got a region free one.
DVD is in numbers and blu in letters

it will say which regions it will play in. America is reg A and europe B as the chart above shows. most of them are reg B although there are some region free ones.

arrow also has releases intended for america/Reg A. their 4k releases are region free though since that format is region free

if you've got a 4K player oldboy is available on 4KUHD with the commentaries region free, but the 3hr documentary is on a regular region B disc
