you can use the criterion outside of the states and in europe. its not even difficult.

i've used the service ever since they showed 1 film a week and i'm in sweden mate

only needed a VPN to sign up, but not to watch. no issuses (except criterions site which is buggy but that's besides the point)

have even paused it a few months and resumed it with no issues

my debit card, they haven't got a paypal option afaik.
