like i'm not in this party for that s***, put on some afrobeats.
you must be real fun at parties lol
let me have my opinion bruddaaaaaaaaaa holy s***
ill be real i have a closer relationship with drake than the majority of this site. like i know people that can get on the phone with him quickly and have even been in his videos etc. drake is really about this music s*** like he loves it he listens all types of artists always loves finding new stuff goes on the internet himself like he has such a deep knowledge and love for this it’s crazy he’s like another one of us on this site to an extent. he can sit down with all different fans of music and have a long conversation with them about different artists he’s not just one track minded and really loves this and wants to do what’s right
like that vulture stuff hurts me because there’s real vultures out there
He and 40 obv have an excellent ear for music but I do wonder why he doesn't collab with artists like Dev Hyne and Ama Lou when he clearly f***s with them. Makes me think he is being at least very strategic about who he works with, and that's a generous interpretation. I can't imagine getting a collaboration with someone like Lykke Li in 2024. I question whether this is because he wants to project a certain image, or if its because hes acting out against all the online hate he got early on in his career for being a 'Soft Canadian'. Maybe Lucian and UMG even have a say...who knows
i'm not at the party to scream out lyrics concerning allegations of pedophilia. uhh sorry?
turn on that Mustard instrumental and i'm rocking in that ho tho!
Aahh papi angels itt fuming :vlosereave:
over “nothing” mind you
definitely cliqued up in a Discord somewhere
i have to agree. i, in fact, haven't really been outside the last couple weeks lol so i haven't heard it out yet but i do think it's a weird song to be bopping at a party too and singing along to some of the lyrics. like i'm not in this party for that s***, put on some afrobeats.
BUT Mustard on the beat ho! and that "THEY NOT LIKE US!" hook does the damn job.
Not to mention....
69 Gawd sounds more like a compliment than anything
Yes yes. You have it! Keep following the thread. You’re so close to the truth.
you're being instantly defensive to the point of parody over me posting a screenshot from a story you apparently believe every word of
if you want to go into why that is, feel free to keep replying to me and getting reactions

being compared to 6ix9ine is a compliment?

meanwhile has the same features for the last 8 years on his albums.
i think somebody lyingggg
Are you a virgin?
it's called triple entendre.
6ix9ine had a "weird" case (thank god he's not around) as well. And the song is about niggas with weird cases.
Media literacy on brain rot.

reaaaal interesting subject matter and content has become a concern in hip-hop all of the sudden…
totally not driven to undermine another artist to prop up the other, nah not at all…
Not to mention....

yup lol but idk maybe we should do the whole hive mind/groupthink thing that KTT usually hates so much...just this once, what you think?

Played like 3x at the bar I went to over the weekend

made a point (that no drake fan has answered yet) that why are the 2 artists he's directly backing feel like caricatures out of a boondocks episode (a girl who's so trashy she makes ig stories about "going to the doctor to ask why my coochie stank" and a singer that wears a sheisty.)
yup lol but idk maybe we should do the whole hive mind/groupthink thing that KTT usually hates so much...just this once, what you think?
In reality idgaf about this s*** but I really cant stand the idiocy that goes on.
We all still gon listen to both these guys when they drop. Big fan of both. Im just not siding with Kendrick on this one
now watch how the kendrick supporters take this one person's comments and put all "drake stans" behind it lol
fam Not Like Us is quite literally the only song that's being regularly played in bars and clubs from this beef and it will be all summer. that's independent DJs playing a song to make the party go up, not a f***ing label forcing a song on radio and playlisting. that's real life. there's NO getting around that.
@Undisclosed i said this a page back before the post you responded to

my bad put on family matters instead

On one level he's still calling him a 69 God though 😂 won't catch me saying that about another man personally

because in HIP HOP (especially now that that lil boy is unfortunately a house name) being called a 69 God in a SONG about pedophilia is an insult lmao.

there's plenty of things that go into collaborating besides "i like and support this person's music" so i mean we'll never really know and i think it'd be silly to try and theorize. business definitely plays a part.
Carnival went number one and i didn’t see a single person cry about Kanye calling himself Puff Daddy rich and a whole litany of other stuff, let alone “that’s strange to sing along to!” cue purse clutching
very interesting to say the least

not to mention all the foreign reggaeton and baile funk that americans have fallen in love with
betta thank the HEAVENS ABOVE niggas don't have translators cause

i think somebody lyingggg
in the past 8 years he’s made songs with a super young dave, a not yet blown up brent faiyaz. summer walker, unheralded edm producers, teezo touchdown, giveon when he had like three songs or something, the list goes on you’re hating

betta thank the HEAVENS ABOVE niggas don't have translators cause
if the roles were reversed they would’ve been calling Kendrick stans sissies but ya know blah blah blah 🥱
could be here all day with hypotheticals
