Yeah bro he hasn't missed since then. The Travis features too among other ones he's done along the way. It was tough times at one point.

WZRD wasn't well received but then he did Indicud which was a bit better received. Did Satellite Flight which was supposed to be an EP leading up to MOTM3 which wasn't that well received. Then idk what happened that got scrapped and he did Speedin' Bullet. He had already lost a lot of his casual fans at this point. This was the final blow though.

I remember seeing countless people trashing him. Saying he's washed and will never make good music again. A lot of fans gave up on him. I always had faith he'd get back to making good music again. I felt like he needed the hate from Speedin' to give him that push. He was bored with rap. Publicly stated it numerous times. He needed a reason to rap again. Also clearly he needed help and go it which also needed to happen.

It has been a hell of a journey for CuDi. He always felt like an underdog from the get go. Never really got much respect outside his fans when he was relevant back in the day so it's nice to see him get his shine finally. Making up with Kanye was a critical moment for that. Also publicly calling out Kanye and Drake had to happen so they would make up and set things right eventually.

He also wasn't collabing with many people at one point so it sick to see him doing that again. Specifically with the younger generation. I feel like that's crucial for sustainability. Can't wait to see what he does from here

great write up. i have to confess that i thought that cudi's best days were behind him in terms of his musical output and then with passion, pain, and demon slayin' he showed glimpses of his former magic and now it definitely seems that he has his mojo back, he's on an upward trajectory with each new release he seems to be refreshed and his hunger is back.

i can't wait for the deluxe of MOTM III and my dream project would be a sequel to KSG. who knows what the future may bring anything is possible i'm just happy we have so many enjoying his craft and he seems to be in a good place going by his zane lowe interview.

i hope he tours once this rona era passes i would love to see him perform
