I know he's said a lot of s*** like this in the past. With his success in making movies/tv series now it won't surprise me if this is true. He has given us a s*** ton of music throughout his career and has been pretty consistent. I really hope he doesn't end his discog with Entergalactic and don't think he will but I understand if he takes a break to focus on the stuff he says he wants to focus on

Honestly he should. Everything that made him make dope music isn’t healthy lol and the music he’s made since has just been a shell of everything that was once dope about him.

Ironically tho my pops hit me and asked me if I knew him when he was on Fallon or Kimmel the other night lol. Crazy as someone who had the 10deep mixtape on his psp a decade ago lol, surreal that he wanna quit when he having that middle America moment cuz of the show

I think cudi gave us all he could. It was a hell of a run and 20 years from now I'll probably still be bumping motm 1 and 2 plus his other good gems. But so far the last two albums were really safe and kinda sounded uninspired, but they aren't bad albums just more so boring. My ass is getting older too so maybe that's why cudi music doesn't stick like it used too. Definitely will always be one of my favorite artists, but he's growing out of music or maybe he needs to take a break till he's inspired again. The bottle incident definitely made his decision easier lol
