how hbo allowing this netflix plotline
Damn that was really not it for me
right? This victory lap thing is overstaying its welcome. Its not even creative comedy and expertly interweaved narratives anymore its just dialing in on rich people awkwardness
Also kind of disappointed that this isn't the "pandemic" season but that's besides the point
I really really enjoyed that but I get where some of these criticisms are coming from
And man was Lucy Liu stiff
That was a blast imo. Hasn't missed a beat.
Although, am hopeful the blackmail subplot isnt a season long thing. Did feel a little shoehorned.
Weirdly twisted yet wholesome as well seeing Albert Brooks on Curb, especially in the context of a funeral plot - given that Bob Einstein was his brother.
Hope Vince Vaughn is back this season.
been getting through Curb for the first time, halfway through season 6 now.
still decided to watch last night's episode, it was solid!
The funeral scenes were probably my favorite from the episode. Overall still solid but damn I kinda wish they would just put out the entire season already I don’t want to wait to binge

Fair enough. I hated the last season because he just seemed like a total a****** but tbh I hadn’t watched the show since I watched all of the first 8 as a younger teen. So this in comparison was a bit more tolerable

What victory lap thing
How is Leon co hosting dinner parties now and inviting all of Larry’s friends now he’s honestly the greatest token black character ever. Btw I don’t like these ridiculous side plot that’s gonna run threw the whole season. It feels like it’s gonna be exactly like the fatwa plot.
The blackmail seems pointless and I feel lik he should just look up the consequences of death under the circumstances and say f*** this guy. The dance routine threw me off a bit.
Not sure why but the part that gave me the biggest last so far was Leon part about one of the three stooges running around in circles making noises getting no p****

Yeah I’m hoping this doesn’t become the season storyline but it feels like it tho I guess we’ll have to wait until Sunday to see
Suzie really is one of the most talented people on this show next to Larry and JB smoove
She’s legit an insanely talented comedic actor and improviser. She’s been doing her angry character for like 21 years and still comes out with the funniest s*** when arguing with Larry
Need to see some of her stand up bc she’s always funny in cast interviews too
