not surprised with Prime tbh. Amazon Prime is huge so all those members automatically got Prime video
HBO Max would easily be #4 if it was in more countries
That top 2 is not changing for a while though, Prime + Prime Video is a crazy deal
In the UK we have NOW TV which has a decent amount of the HBO Max catalogue I'm pretty sure
yeah pretty sure this is why we dont have HBO Max
Sky own the UK rights to all their s***
apple tv is top 3 because of the "ecosystem". Easy to subscribe on apple products (no need to make an account and card is probably added), and gives you free trial as well
Amazon prime layout is dog s***. So user unfriendly
It has the best catalog for indie/art house films but some of it’s original work (that aren’t like movies they have distribution rights with) sucks
All in all it’s ok for what it is.
Hulu not being as popular is because it’s not available outside of USA. Hulu probably has on average the best produced shows as well as shows in general bcus of their distribution deal with FX and starz/showtime (although Netflix’s highs are better) Im not familiar with their movie catalog.
Tldr
Netflix/hulu
Amazon prime
Disney plus
Hulu really that low? Always thought they was 2nd to Netflix. Doesn't a lot of people use Hulu now for Live TV? Also wouldn't the Disney + subscribers help with the bundles they do?
Hulu is only available in America. If europeans and canadians could get it it would easily be second to netflix
Amazon prime is good for arthouse/obscure s*** but the layout and algorithm is really bad
AppleTV free with IPhone purchase or something?
you get a year free with any big apple purchase (iphone, ipad, mac) lol

Oh damn didn’t know Hulu was only in the US

Bullshit lol I bought a new MacBook recently them b****es Aint give me no Apple TV
HBO Max coming to my country next month.
The people in your village will be very happy
Why tf doesnt HBO Max try to expand beyond the US?
They already have content deals in many places outside US. In my country, WB and HBO content is spread between Prime, Netflix and Disney+ and apparently these deals aren't going to expire any soon and thus they can't come here anytime soon without spending a lot of money to gain the rights back which doesn't makes much sense financially.
Anyone else see this? I'm surprised Prime video is second, definitely surprised Apple TV plus is that high. Would of thought Hulu and HBO max would be top 5
HBO needs to try harder to be #3
Why tf doesnt HBO Max try to expand beyond the US?
HBO and warner-media already have so many licensing deals already in place for a lot of their content with different streaming platforms internationally. Probably gotta wait for those to expire and consolidate it all into hbo max international.
