He made some of his best music in recent years the last two years. I do think he’s on the cusp of going on last “run” and he’ll prolly fall back and chill

I liked the alchemist one ofc and I thought Still Stoned On Ocean was cool on one listen but wasn’t moved to go back. Pilot Talk 4 was a disappointment for me on one listen but I felt that about 3 too. And outside of that it’s just been hard for me to keep up

I don’t want to miss out on his work while he’s still grinding if he does fall back, I want to appreciate him I really do, he’s one of the most important artists in my life

But idk maybe it’s just me and where I’m at

I’m sorry fam, see my above post, it’s not that anything’s been terrible but it’s been hard to keep up and I just haven’t been wowed like I used to be

The lack of quality control on Pilot Talk 3 and 4 also frustrated me tbh, when he put out PT3 with the verse offbeat on one song and it wasn’t noticed until it was already out, that was sad to see for such an important project

And then Pt4 was the one with the features being added later or super low quality or some s***

But I’m nitpicking there it’s not like those were dealbreakers but I just haven’t been as motivated to keep up I guess

Damn PT3 was fire imo but I do feel you on 4, apparently it’s an old project tho so maybe it would’ve hit differently if it dropped then. But even tho I liked joints off it I haven’t really Gon back

But the albums he dropped with Harry Fraud were fire imo and I like the joint he did wit DJ fresh and the album collection agency

Don’t trip tho I feel like Spitta won’t be stopping anytime too soon because he records so much. Maybe like 2025. I know he won’t be calling it quits before they Jermaine Dupri album drops so we got that to look forward too

I forget too but I’m pretty sure it was a solo track from later in the album, maybe Search Party? But I remember spitta letting us know that the engineer put his vocals in the wrong place and then they fixed it for the digital version (it had already been out messed up tho),but they had already sent out those little plane hard drive physicals that and all the Cool and Dre sample beats that didn’t feel like the ski PT sound from the first two was the first time I was like wtf Spitta. But I just have really high expectations for that series
