No I agree and I think Barker agrees it’s the stick. It’s just that particular emotion behind the wish caused what happened to Nicki to happen. If freaky Nikki had the similar emotion when she did the wish, I feel that obsessed bear would have acted like she did. We don’t know if there’s any repercussions to the money wish or even if there would be. He did seem like he didn’t really care about their argument since he went over to his place right after talking about the money

Lighting was a lil too dark at times IMO the stuff with her being lit that way made sense I just mean the other parts of the film lol

be careful what you wish for. I can’t remember the last time a horror movie had me this tense and shaken up. there were multiple instances where I was watching this with only one eye open. Inde Navarrette’s performance was unreal. the way she moved and acted without warning was unbelievable. Curry Barker absolutely nailed the tone and atmosphere of this film. I also wanted to highlight the score, as it felt joyful in parts while still carrying an underlying sense of eeriness throughout. easily my second favorite movie of the year so far. horror is in a really great place right now with all of this new talent emerging.
