A lotta ppl only have management deals with GOOD, that might be different from a record deal. I don't know.

  • CyHi's story doesn't make any damn sense. He's not signed to GOOD Music but he's somehow doing all the behind-the-scenes work for that label

  • Mar 2, 2021

I think GOOD is a mgmt company but I could be wrong

The way I understand it, GOOD is like a distribution company. 070 Shake isn't part of that label anymore but if you look at her last album, it says "distributed by G.O.O.D".

I see. So GOOD is responsible for the album delays.

I don't care how much I admire Kanye or Hov or any of my favs. I'd never sign a deal

Whole industry respects him and he’s written multiple hits for big artists, but he can’t get a proper album deal wtf he deserves better

He should just start one and get a distribution deal.

"he should just redirect his career and life and start an entire label and probably have to scout for new talent too"

Wow I had no clue CyHi wasn’t on good anymore either?

    Crazy

IMO, his best option would be to tap in with Empire. The perfect balance between independence and proper promotion/marketing.

It also seems like CyHi may have been blackballed by the higher ups in the industry. The artists love him and enlist his pen but he somehow can’t drop albums.
