Woodward is a joke from a sporting level. I can’t believe he didn’t give Mourinho a CB in the summer window only to pay £80m for Maguire in the next one. People thought Mourinho was taking the piss when he said placing 2nd in 2017/18 was a big feat, only now we realize he was right. But even then, Mourinho wasn’t the right fit. But neither is Solskjaer, he’s so out of his depth it’s crazy. There really is no sporting project and there is a disconnect between the board and the coaching staff. But even sacking him won’t do anything unless the board changes as well. At this rate Pochettino would suffer. The only good thing though is Poch may be able to nurture players like Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood into actual superstars instead of just promising youth players. But unless the actual systemic issues are addressed, United is a sinking club.
