This
How was it?
Overall it was amazing. The whole weekend experience, there was really nothing like it.
Like, for starters, the fact that they sold out FOUR 60,000 shows all during pre-sale, and there was no general sale for the concerts at all. It really shows the whole theme of the weekend, which was you were IN IT. You couldn’t be casual.
Like so few artists are stadium status, and even those that are, it’s usually built on historical relevancy (see: U2 or Bruce, etc). This is different tho. Like everyone who bought tickets bought them within the first 3 hours they went on sale, and they could only buy tickets if a) they purchased tickets to last tour b) paid for the fan club membership or c) did the whole verified fan thing.
This is why nosebleeds were actually selling for $700+ a seat. Why I kept meeting people from so many different countries around the world. Why tour merch took 6 to 9 hours to wait through. Why more than half of plane were filled with the fans, and the flights were playing bts on the speakers as they were landing.
I say all of this cause when you think all the work, time, effort and money people have spent just to make it inside that stadium, imagine the collective feeling when the show actually started. I really never seen anything like it, and don’t know if I ever will tbh.
