no it don't
If you weren't pigeonholed into reusing a letter you got correct you could forget next turn and have it cost you. It most definitely does make it easier lel

yeah but you don't get the opportunity to put random words and get as many letter hints as possible
and if you're on the last attempt and forget to use a letter you need to go back to school and get more blood flowing to your brain

If you're resorting to reusing letters to get you closer to the answer then you're essentially wasting a turn anyways
Their idea is that you're supposed guess the word in the least amount of tries as possible but most people don't gaf, as long as they get it right at the end

without hard mode you first 2 guesses could just be whatever words cover the most used letters, with hard mode you literally have to reuse letters
how does that make it easier to do it in less attempts if your first try gives you 2 yellows or something?

making you reuse letters that are confirmed correct essentially is whats making it easier and pointing you closer to the answer, Im not sure what the point you're making here is idk try to reword it (no pun)
You being able to reuse wrong letters is how people trip up all the time, unknowingly or not. It puts you closer to an answer but you lose a turn reusing a letter you already know isn't in the word

sure but you'd also be able to avoid yesterdays situation where you have 4 of 5 letters, so on the next attempt you could just use as many free letters as possible to narrow down on what that last letter you need is
