Nice choice, don't need a high performance car to enjoy the track days. I drove in one of the series where they take some random ass cars with like 110bhp, did some modifications and it was a lot of fun to track it around. Was my first time. Much cooler to drive a slower car around the track fast than go straight in to a fast car and not use any of the potential.

Also where you planning to go in Europe?

Neat, Europe fortunately "small" enough to get a taste of different areas and cultures. To be fair a good FWD is great and strongly overhated. At some point I feel FWD is even better for the track, but it really depends on the track layout, speeds and so on. Nevertheless, you'd be amazed how capable every car with good tyres and suspension can be on a track. And you'll have tons of fun even in the slower cars.

yeah FWD requires a whole different style, but not being able to have any oversteer without trail braking is an L imo

yeah and being able to do 4 or 6 laps hopefully can get nerves out of the way and actually learn/apply skills on most of the laps

I've been practicing in Gran Turismo and there's def a few corners where I'll probably be going 50mph slower than the limit in real life lmao
