These numbers seem almost impossible if you have a real fanbase & were doing 100k+ like less than 2 years ago, at the same time I was pretty disconnected from rap during this guys come up so I’m not phased, his hype was always lost on me

fr, I dont even doubt he's been blackballed but numbers like this show u aint have a real fanbase
different fan groups. Country fans don't care about bad people or racism lmao
Fr acting like the two are comparable at all is hilarious and ignorant
Just because a label has previously forced your music down our throat doesn’t mean we wanted to listen to it then.
Even if you are blackballed as he claims you have millions of followers on social media and they can all search for and listen to your album if they chose to.
They simply do not want to hear it.

Exactly. The label just just stopped promoting him.
Your fan base can still look up and stream your album if they wished.

they act like if your album isn’t being forced into every playlist and on the new release page it’ll cease to exist
The reason why his numbers were so large in the beginning was because they were ARTIFICIALLY INFLATED. the label stopped giving him top priority. These new numbers are a direct reflection of his true commercial output.
He’s definitely been blackballed without a doubt.
However he needs another hit like Ball if I Want To. Needs a song for people to rally behind to really get his point across.

Him and his fans don't wanna admit it but that's the truth. How can dude be blackballed if they still featuring him in Spotify and AM rap playlists? Still be getting airplay on the radio and TV. Nigga just fell off and people got tired of him making the same song over and over again.
These 2018-2019 batch of rappers used to have 5 songs placed in each playlists now their only 1 song is present in the same playlists so it's blackballed. Please give this much focus on being creative fr👍
his attempts at diversifying his sound have been wack by and large.
his same old same old stuff imo it sounds like he's trying to do too much sometimes. like the best baby on baby stuff was dynamic and mostly straightforward and direct if that makes sense, some of the more recent stuff it sounds like he's trying to rap too much on em or do something weird with the hook and it just doesn't work.
He came out the gate charismatic af and basically since then he's become growingly aggro within the industry and to audiences. He seems like a petulant child more often than not and I don't think audiences like it

Morgan wallen is not exclusive to country fans lol

I think people also forgetting that the numbers overall were a lot higher a few years ago. Kendrick, Drake, everybody just doing less cause they changed how they count a stream
Baby on Baby was a really exciting album when it dropped
but yeah saying he was blackballed is denial of his actual output
baby is still signed to a major label too though after these numbers it might not be much longer
This level of d***riding should be illegal.
Literally any rapper with more clout can blackmail, it's as simple as saying "if you f*** with him, then I don't f*** with you"
Secondly, Baby had the best verse on Donda, and a faaaar better verse than Jay Z.
this level of d***riding should be illegal
Proceeds to say DABABY has the best verse on DONDA
He gotta go act or something for a minute lol. Not only is there the rolling loud thing, there’s the narrative of “he was already repetitive and cold” so people don’t give him the benefit of the doubt of whatever effect rolling loud had + he pissed off the women with the Meg s***. Nigga got everything working against him rn lol he gotta let people miss him
He was lowkey doin that then he tried to clout chase wit the Meg Bars
dudes b like "the industry full of gay people"
then they say "f gay people"
then they surprised when they get blackballed lmao
also blackballed or not his hype is at an all time low so idk what he expected
