wasn't it the black vote that got Biden on the ballot against Trump over the other candidates?
If that block continues to side with the corporate, mainstream, right of the dems then why would they change. Anyone offering anything less right wing got rejected in the primaries by the majority of black voters from what i could tell.
uninspiring candidates like Hillary and Biden mean some black voters stay at home who came out for Obama and that did happen in some crucial states in 2016, but idk why the DNC would change to be more radical as a response to the black vote when so far the numbers haven't been behind that.
maybe things are different after the protests of this year, i guess we'll know in 2024. at the same time i hear people like Common saying 'we just need someone like Obama', when Biden will could go into this election with (slightly) more radical positions than Obama. Kamala is a horrible choice tho.
