Yeah it's sad how these guys (not just op) get too obsessed with numbers. Like they living vicariously through DaBaby or Cole and if they don't sell the most it's like a personal beef with them

I understand why tho. They're so invested in their favorite artist, that Baby or Cole success is theirs as well. Sales is cool and all but I wish we placed as much emphasis on the music for all artists not just the collective that does well on billboard.

Edit ~ The accurate list is on Page 6 by @thegreatdivine so DaBaby is even less popular than we thought

I know this made the rounds online but it isn't accurate.

This is an accurate list of the most streamed artists in the US (based on the Rolling Stone Artist 500 Chart) so far this year, updated through last week.

    1. Drake - 2,236.2B
    2. Morgan Wallen - 2,130.9B
    3. Taylor Swift - 2,116.3B
    4. Juice WRLD - 1,664.1B
    5. YoungBoy Never Broke Again - 1,463.7B
    6. The Weeknd - 1,378.3B
    7. Lil Baby - 1,287.6B
    8. Pop Smoke - 1,281.2B
    9. Justin Bieber - 1,206.8B
    10. Ariana Grande - 1,192.5B

    18. DaBaby - 827.0M

    As of March this year.

What's Next is still charting and Lemon Pepper Freestyle is just straight BARS so I guess it's ok if its not hanging in. I actually hear it more than the other 2 and it is the best hit of the 3

I've seen like 15 remixes of Lemon Pepper Freestyle since it dropped.

I don't think I've ever in my life decided to check out an artist because of their stream numbers

He released a 30-track album at the top of the year. The week the video of him saying the N word was released, his numbers jumped lmao.

I don't want the blame for that
That was from Our Generation Music and they're usually right. They're not a big publication like Billboard but it's credible they were almost accurate about Drake being #1

I'm still curious about where they got those numbers from because they aren't accurate no matter what public sources you use: whether Rolling Stone Artist 500 Chart, Spotify, YouTube. None of them correlate with what they posted and they never linked any source in their post as well. Just weird.

Kanye West and Lil Durk as well. Also, no YoungBoy NBA. Eminem, Bad Bunny and Lil Uzi are all above DaBaby as well and they're not on that list.
