    Scratchin Mamba

U talking to the OP of the african fam thread

That's the difference man. One can make it about skin color but our relationship here in America is vastly different than any other person of dark complexion.

We created hip-hop, many inventions, gone thru this experience for 400 years, even this site is named after a Black American musician.

People can bring in a colorist viewpoint and say "I'm black, so is Dababy so I can say nigga and speak like them" nationality, diaspora, lineage etc. sir we're just two different people.

That's not to separate us but it's for you to be respectful of people and a culture that this world is entertained and benefits from. We don't need outsiders ie Elton John, CNN, etc. to politicize a statement made within the artform of Hip-Hop. There are the Chris Brown's and ?love's of the world. Black platforms exist where y'all should be flocking to and join our discussion. Don't make this s*** about y'all cause it aint. Never was to begin with.

This sites a joke because it really doesn't give two f***s about black platforms, nor approach black topics with a black lens. If we don't fit y'alls agenda then you revert to mainstream outlets to support your thoughts.

Black people, particularly black men aren't 99.9% of the negative tropes the world attempts to typecast us as.

He's finished. He'll still get some streams like Tory Lanez and 6ix9ine, but he'll never get endorsements or high profile features in the same way ever again.

If CHRIS BROWN criticizes you, and CHRIS BROWN is morally correct, you really f***ed up.

These types of topics bring in alotta money. Plenty of platforms are capitalizing off of what was said. Total money grab. If the media can again freely throw punches at Black America, particularly black men, they 100% will.

I understand that the history of African Americans in America makes a difference even if we may on what those effects are, but you're basically saying let's not separate and then describe something that amounts to separation.

And just saying, the common struggles of African Americans and Africans (whether they're immigrants or still in Africa even) go far beyond just colorism.

People ITT think MADONNA and ELTON JOHN need clout. And that anyone else commenting like Dua Lipa must just be responding to be "woke".

Has it ever occurred to you that maybe some people legitimately support the LGBTQ community?

Yes of course but how can you argue Dua Lipa has a genuine passion about the community whilst promoting a song with Pop?
