I was trying to say that Hip Hop, or music in general should’ve never been looked at as CNN or Fox in the first place. This is art, it’s not news/media. people placed this “responsibility” upon artists to be the spokespeople for the unheard but that’s not they job and we should’ve never placed that sort of responsibility on them.
Especially considering celebrities aren't like super human they're just like us all, so they might be huge dummies or nazis or whatever lol, we should just stop looking at anyone for political advice and whatever. Not saying artists shouildjt be able to speak their mind because some definitely have interesting things to say but thars not the majority
