All that aside Eminem has actually recognized his homophobic remarks, held himself accountable, and even educated himself on the homophobic things he has said and became friends with Elton John.
DaBaby could've done all of this and even avoided getting dropped from festival lineups. Instead he has decided to continue to make an ass of himself. Don't know why people are attempting to make this a race thing and throw around these whataboutisms. Sounds like he is simply facing the repercussions of his actions
Dababy instead of apologizing is basically saying my comments were meant with “all due respect” why y’all so mad?

facts
Like it’s that f***ing easy
I get how it can seem like an agenda or whatever given how many people are saying s***
But literally all he had to do was actually recognize he did wrong, apologize and take some time to do better in the future
S*** if he did it right he could get gay people actively supporting him he was already tapping into that base a little w the dua song
But also Eminem was always controversial/edgy from the beginning, like it was his brand so I think the controversies just helped his career
This is unraveling into something very crazy to see unfold if you paying attention, this the last frontier of toxic masculinity in rap music being torn down on a mainstream level. This s*** ain’t gonna be able to slide even on a fractional level going forward. As it shouldn’t
lol there's still plenty of things that are considered "toxic masculinity" in hip-hop
This just so happens to be that and bigotry at the same time

I agree with you about what Eminem did to rectify his statements. But the race issue is way to factual to ignore. If a black rapper rapped every line Eminem ever did in his career, in the same years, did the same music videos, had the same label, co-signs, clothes, personality, was from Detroit, etc, and Em didn’t exist… he wouldn’t have had nearly the success. It just is what it is.

Agreed I should have worded it better, but I do think overall, the more visceral s*** that targets specific groups and individuals of marginalized communities will be an absolute No-No. the killing s***, stays, ofc.

Oh for sure
Em called Tyler the f word not too long ago let’s stop shooting the white boy bail he don’t give a f***
Em had mfs with literal signs and pitchforks protesting
burning his cds lol

What "respect" does he have for the LGBT by saying this?
Or this?
Eminem pissed off WASP moms and the B-list celebrities he called out in his songs. He was everyone else's "I'm not into rap but" artist.
Dude made millions solely off being a toxic f***

the second people start weaponizing comments ogs have made about femininity/"real man" s*** in rap today against them that og dynamic/legend dynamic s*** is over
pull up the no jumper ghostface interview and you have a plethora of quotes to cancel him off of if you wanted to
“Tyler create nothin', I see why you called yourself a **, b****
It’s not just ‘cause you lack attention
It’s 'cause you worship D12’s balls, you’re sack-rilegious” -Em
Like this is really some wild s*** to say to somebody over not liking your music
Nothing could have been done with what he said at the concert, it can’t be changed
But the way he went about it afterwards was just dumb
All he had to do was either actually apologize or just shut the f*** up and he still managed to f*** up
What "respect" does he have for the LGBT by saying this?
https://twitter.com/DaBabyDaBaby/status/1420148416093503491Or this?
https://twitter.com/BJC58/status/1420959082677157888I meant when people say “with all due respect….” And then proceed to say some f***ed up s*** not expecting someone to get upset cause they said with all due respect.
Like the first tweet you posted “I have no intentions on offending anybody” like ohh my fault G I thought you was saying all that s*** to make me feel like s*** because of some preferences I have but you good since “it wasn’t your intention”

Ion know Three 6 Mafia managed to prosper despite all the homophobic, sexist, and satanic s*** they had in their music and videos. Niggas won an Oscar

It’s a slippery slope in my eyes. Because you absolutely have to address the s*** Rock legends have done as well if you’re going to open this can of worms. It wouldn’t sit right with me if only the Black artists suffered from this; especially when homophobia and these forms of discrimination are literally prevalent throughout black history and a lot of it was aggregated by media and stereotypes to begin with.
Didn’t know his comments would go this crazy. Just gonna guess that someone big behind the scenes is trying to get rid of him
