The reason why there's ageism in rap is because the average listener is like 16-22 they're still in high school and college, once people graduate and get 9-5s they tend to listen to less music and especially rap music which is the music of the youth.
That's a myth i used to believe back in school until i entered the workforce. I still check for music sometimes despite having a full time job.
In the real world, i learned you MAKE time for what you love to do, we're all busy working but that's not an excuse.
