ram is great but the influence discovery has? the variation? interstella 5555? the amount of their hits that are off that one album? their defining album for me
ram is a fantastic album tho. really felt like the mature daft punk album def a great spot to close it out on. the first album i ever preordered
yeah i don't value influence as much as ktt2 does. i'm just saying I enjoy the other more. Can't say a thing against disco
but I think if we had a tour for RAM and a Alive 2017, RAM being their best wouldn't be such a minority opinion.

yeah i wish we couldve saw what they did with those songs live. some of my fav songs of theirs are off ram
BUT if you ever met someone who's never heard of daft punk and wants to know what one album captures the group? discovery is the only choice

Yeah i'd say start with disco too
save the best for last
Those who pick Discovery are still holding on to their nostalgic love for it
but fr RAM/Disc are 2 perfect albums. But on a good headphone setup there's nothing more pleasing than RAM. S*** is an incredible journey. The outro on Contact is f***ing exhilarating, feel like i'm actually taking off.
RAM's my favorite album of the entire decade, since MBDTF is counted in the 01-10 decade
Respectfully I disagree Discovery is definitely my fav by them I dont even really have nostalgia with it lol
RAM is a great album too but I don’t love every song on it but of course it has a lot of my fav daft punk songs

TBH you can't go wrong with either album they're both perfect
I've just noticed weird RAM hate on ktt2, that i've never seen outside of it, so i've been going hard for it

Yeah Im getting really puzzled by people saying Human After All is better than RAM lol

It’s because it’s their most pop album. And to this site pop = bad. At least sometimes

I get that sometimes, but it's not like they sold out by getting Panda Bear and Julian lol
I can understand anyone disliking Get Lucky after how much it was overplayed tbf though. Pharrell was really on one that year. Both pharrell tracks are still great though
Instant Crush is my fav song on RAM one of my fav daft punk songs
Julians vocals are f***ing insane on this. That hooks hypnotic
Whoever mixed and mastered RAM is a god. I've never heard a better sounding album in my life
God I have so many good memories of Discovery, it's so hard to listen to because when I start listening to it I binge and the rest of my day is ruined in nostalgia. The flaw of the album is that the s*** is too good.

Yeah I love Get Lucky play that song all the time

I just looked up his work and this same dude mixed Cherry Bomb
That type of talent and range is wild.

I know the dirty mix on cb was intentional but that whole muddy sound never sat too well with me, always preferred the clean mixes

Mike Guzauski and Bob Ludwig. absolute legends
I never got into RAM cause it had like 4 long ass ballads in a row right at the start
I went in for the niles rodgers jawns mostly
I need to relisten
How old are both members of Daft Punk? Are they in there 40’s or 50’s now?
Nigga google it
relistening to RAM again for the 100th time, I can't understand why folks think this project is mid on here. this is like pure Daft Punk distilled into an album. they're literally showing their roots.
second favorite project of theirs by a good margin.
