Ima keep it 100
I always liked Alive 1997 more than Alive 2007
you won today then
hearing Fresh live... man.... feels unreal...
back in like 2008 when i was part of The Daft Club, there was this infamous post talking about a bootleg cassette recording of "Daft Punk Live @ Red Box, Dublin, October 1997" and how on that recording, Daft Punk performed a more fleshed out version of Fresh live during the Daftendirektour
and for years, it was like this unconfirmed myth that couldn't be proven because nobody had access to any live recordings that actually had this live version of Fresh in it
now we can finally hear that s***
it's so beautiful
Let's goooo
probably the start of the reissue campaign
Discovery up next
Just wish the repress was a boxset and had the remixes tbh

Superheroes has some of the hardest kicks I’ve heard in my life
This is from the D.A.F.T. DVD from Homework-era. Not new but still cool.
Just gave Random Access Memory a full play through after years & my goodness is this an absolute masterclass in production, creativity, detail and mixing. There may not be another album that sounds as clean and crisp as this. Every note and instrument is incredibly dynamic.
A quick note about the vocals, Thomas & Guy-Man used one of the most expensive and rare vocoders, the Sennheiser VSM 201. Supposedly, only a dozen were made and they cost upwards of $50,000 if you were lucky enough to even find one.
