Old guy brought in his PC to get a new AV license purchased (you shouldnt even have to bring it in...)

My boss says since he's been without protection so long, he needs to scan and clean it fully, which is gonna be like 250 bucks minimum.

So guy came in for what he thought was a $50 license renewal

Now gonna be like $300.

Then he said since the guy took so long to get it in here, we probably wont have it done for the weekend. (No reason for it to take this long)

The guy is inevitably gonna call at the end of today or tomorrow morning asking about it and Im gonna have to say it's not started

I'm crying, he just said not to clean the corrosion off this liquid damaged MacBook because it could destroy it

I had an interview at this place but I fumbled a bit on the interview. I was iffy about the job to begin with because it's 9 hour days and probably less interesting work (from what they described) so my attitude in the interview was very "take it or leave it"

Lowkey the HR chick was this sexy bbw who looked to be my age so I was like maybe I do want this job

I was high key banking on them bringing me in but I was surprised they went with someone else (cuz I got some pretty good credentials to back it up)

I been applying to other places for like 2 weeks tho, waiting to hear back.

Seems like there was a burst of tech jobs at the beginning of the summer, but it died down a lot.

There was a more reputable electronic repair shop that was hiring full time, I shoulda just went there tbh but I swore not to go back to the retail environment.
They do a lot of the same IT tech stuff I do except none of the swindling bs.
