Na. Reggaeton was dying. Trap had taken over in PR. Only the South American artist were still doing mostly reggaeton projects until YHLQMDLG. Now reggaeton is back as the main force in Latin music. Jowell y Randy admitted they were gonna make a commercial album until the success of “Safaera” happened and they decided to drop a 100% reggaeton album.

Plus the 🏳️‍🌈 support he’s shown is unlike any urban artist in history. He dresses like a woman in his videos, paints his nails etc. That may seem normal for Americans but in Latin America, where machismo is king, that’s f***ing huge.

Plus his last 3 albums have replaced his own albums ar #1, even months after they’re out they’re still #1 on Latin billboards lol. The guy people say is his main competition or closest rival, j Balvin, his album isn’t even in the top 10 and it came out a month after bunny’s last 3 albums its domination thats unheard of.
