Whiplash was 3mill budget… Lala Land was 30 mill. I think he should play it safe and write something around a 10-15 mill budget. He can for sure get that funded and keep it relatively small/intimate.

Wasn’t crazy about Babylon. Think it could’ve been amazing if it specified on a specific timeframe rather than going through years and years

I read his quote saying he doesn’t even k own if his next project will be made

Babylon a classic he shouldn’t be unsure like this

Something must have happened behind the scenes for Babylon to flop that hard, movie was great

Unfortunately it’s a game of politics. He’s self aware that Babylon didn’t do the numbers the studio wanted….sucks but I think going an indie route again for the next will be for the best

Pissing someone off in Hollywood can’t stop people from seeing a movie. It still got screens it’s up to the people if a movie makes money or not

Facts. If the audience score was high, then I could see maybe there’s something going on. But most ppl (audience/critics) just didn’t like it. Myself included.

I’ve seen more ppl hate it compared to the few on KTT that loved it.
