never forget coming fresh off "WE GON BE ALRIGHT" sung in the streets
fr, especially with it being pure and organic like that. not forced, asked for etc just energy being reciprocated
That’s the dope thing about Kendrick. All of his biggest songs are organic
King Kunta, Alright, Humble, DNA, Backseats freestyle and MaAd city ring off crazy st festivals
will always associate this album with summer 17 but haven’t wanted to listen to it in a min.... just doesn’t have replay value for me
random, but this is why Kendrick has been hiding since 2017

He got some big songs that I ain't too fond of but the good thing about him is that none of the songs from him ever makes me feel like "Yea the label was behind this one" unlike 95% of rappers out there
Legendary album full of great tracks that span a multitude of genres and inspirations.
His 3rd straight classic
this reminded me about his halloween freestyle he did a long time ago about kim kardashian and bats
took me back
Damn (stylized as DAMN.) is the fourth studio album by American rapper Kendrick Lamar. It was released on April 14, 2017, through Top Dawg Entertainment, distributed by Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.
kdot third best album and it's still one of the best albums last decade

Know who you are
get you a new car
know you're a star
i can freestyle for hours
in the livingroom or the shower
"i don't know what the word he said but it don't really matter"
This one is dope also
i really love to see when people as about his craft as Kendrick etc use their go-to words to buy time and the certain rhymeschemes they have memorized, but flip differently etc in freestyles. it's so playful and let's you know they invested so much in honing their skills

This one is cool too
"Never met an MC that's f***ing shorter than me"
got you just a guess based on the songs you felt and didn't, do you prefer the more rappy deliveries than his melodical ones on it?
Definitely his rap. I really f*** with GKMC and S80, don’t like tpab much at all
This one is cool too
"Never met an MC that's f***ing shorter than me"
that's funny AF
gotta love his goofiness. i didn't find the freestyle cypher (like with some teenagers having fun, think it's between 2015-16) i was looking for fam, but I COULD SWEAR that Kendrick is legit saying "Off the meds, ducking the feds" which is funny af
because it's such a clicheish rhymescheme etc, but the way he was saying it ironically
Used to ride my bike to this album in the morning. Pride a personal classic track
