I hate when yall say this, you cant always just leave everything that made you you internally behind just because you're in new position. If you grew up in something, you know how hard it is to leave all your peoples, habits, mentality behind all while you copping with real life, losses, d*** addiction, and the ptsd of poverty at 21?

they get high off the violence and power they get from the street lifestyle and image simple

Let me tell you something bruh that might actually surprise you some of the crews and gangs these rappers are in or affiliated with have been being investigated they didn't start investigating when youngboy blew up if anything he probably made there job easier for the feds. So in theory yes he could've have seperated himself from his crew but that doesn't mean he was going to avoid charges if theres been an ongoing case he's a part of.

Why bring up a hypothetical that we don’t know

I’m only speaking on what we do know and what we see

Just cause you leave the streets, don’t mean the streets leave you. If I said I ain’t on none of my opps ass anymore, that don’t meant s*** if they still tryna get me.

    Lol no.

I mean sure, I guess they get "high" off that, but it's more than just that.

They get high off violence power and the image because that's literally all they know. If that's all you know, if your friends are from the streets, if all you know is street s***, you can't just automatically once you get on say "welp, i'm not w/the street s*** anymore."

It really doesn't work like that.

Some people do don’t discredit those who move smarter when they get on cause yb didn’t
It’s not impossible by any means yb made his choices

Nothing's impossible. But you're not being realistic if you think it's a simple thing.

The choices YB (and millions of other young black men from the hood) make are influenced by their circumstances that they've been conditioned to since the womb virtually.

This doesn't excuse their behavior or decision making, but i'm providing context as to why despite rappers from the hood "making it" they still have the hood around them and never separate themselves. They are literally roses that grew from concrete.

Bruh mofuckers born into this s*** like I don't know much about yb but I bet he didn't have no daddy he was born in the hood raised by gangsters and d*** dealers because when you live in the hood, those are the people getting bread and driving nice cars always with b****es. And with lil to no upward mobility it's no coincidence street kids move the way they do. You say there addicted I say it's all they know. Whatever crew he was rolling with or affiliated with he was rocking with them pre-fame fasho.
