DaniLeigh seem like a try hard tbh. Her whole vibe is like someone thirsty to fit in.
Right. I thought I was the only one who thought so
It’s about her making a song about men want a yellow bone when she isn’t black. Not only is she not black but she’s called black people monkeys
so is it above 15% you arent white or what number?
her top 3 not really "white" and cameroon/congo?
i mean we splitting hairs now or what lol this is silly
I dont think its that serious bro.
Even in her apology she called Baby a chocolate man. She’s tone deaf. When it come to that type of person, it’s always that serious tbh.
Stfu
is light skin something different than what the obvious definition is? why get mad im genuinely confused

Im talking bout you calling Baby a b**** for dating her lmao.
U know u not black when u gotta say “im black in my opinion”
Naw I am Biracial and I agree with her. In America she is black and would have been back during slavery and Jim Crow days. I am light skinned too and have been questioned about my race by other black ppl too.
But at the end of the day I am black. When ppl I have grown up with and parents of ppl I have dated have found out about my ancestry things have changed and I have been treated differently. Also, if she, like me, have always associated themselves as being black and stand up for black causes then this whole thing is bs.

oh yeah I probably overreacted with that one tbh
She said i have a black boyfriend i have black friends and i dont see color how in 2021
How is this b**** that out of touch she sound like a weeb
I'm not talking about sexism and crime being subject matter of certain rappers
Anti-blackness shouldn't be normalized in hip hop imo
you shouldn't be able to get away with calling black people monkeys etc
But this all boils down to black people not owning the genre cuz there wouldn't even be a convo if it was about another group... They pulled nick cannons whole show with the quickness whilst hip hop has to "forgive" literal racist attacks by non-blacks
This post is all over I agree with anti blackness but I disagree with the idea a genre that is dominated by people getting second chances should be specific in who it gives them too especially when it skews to males vs women.
As far the Nick Canon thing I don't see the comparison at all he wasn't cancelled by rap audiences or black audiences and his show was on a white network.
Also I haven't seen any mainstream figures say she should be forgiven. That comparisons feels like a thin stretch to dig at another group's ability to handle issues.
You completely lost me eith that comparisons
“ Anti-blackness shouldn't be normalized in hip hop imo”
You like 20 years too late on that one buddy lmao
let's learn from past mistakes...

She ain’t black. And who cares about what Jim Crow era laws would’ve classified her as.
Why would we hold ourselves to the same rules that white supremacists held us to

Are you white?
Lol if what you got out of the song and what she’s said after the fact as just her saying she likes DaBaby idk what you on
Other way around
She ain’t black. And who cares about what Jim Crow era laws would’ve classified her as.
Why would we hold ourselves to the same rules that white supremacists held us to
Because they still hold us to those same standards today. If you were black you would know and understand that.
Literally here in America she is treated as a black person.
