Amazing debut album with horrible cover art, infused with some very early Quelle Chris production. Unlike his later projects that were far more experimental, this is just him rapping like crazy over some solid beats for the time.
No need to explain. Classic album.
I don't know why this album had a negative reaction when it first dropped. Honestly my most listened-to DB project, with 25 Bucks being one of his greatest songs OAT.
No need to explain. Classic album.
Honestly an underappreciated project that should've gotten more attention. Not as consistent as his other projects, but overall some great rapping and one-liners over some classic Q-Tip and Paul White production.
His mixtapes are also seriously underrated and need mentioning. Detroit State of Mind 1-4 are some seriously heavy-hitting works, even though they sound dated.

He's got the strongest discography in hip hop with Kendrick.
We ignoring Kanye now?
We ignoring Kanye now?
Kanye up until Ye was the #1 undisputed discography king.
It's been kind of turbulent since. But his CD-Pablo run puts him high up there.
I guess I put Danny above him because of his crazy consistancy with albums. Even the albums that aren't as great as XXX or AE are still pretty damn good.
