@op would you down to watch my short film, was offline for a minute working on it, would love to hear OG's thoughts
Word of course bro 🙏🏾
Was bound to happen unfortunately
I’m cool with it if it changes up the setting again. Scarface is one of those stories you can tell over and over again as long as you keep changing up the location they from, the protagonist and don’t try and do a remake of the Al Pacino joint

Facts. Trying to remake the Al Pacino joint will always be a no no.

I liked this a lot bro, especially the cinematography. NYC is such a dope place to film.
Kinda made me think of finding Nemo but instead of Dorys memory disability you have two people who don’t speak the same language trying to find the niece. That’s a dope concept.
Honestly you could stretch it out to a full length feature on some Before sunset type s*** where you have two strangers exploring the city but it has the stakes of a missing girl they tryna find.

Appreciete the kind words fam, won a 10k grant for my next short film so got some budget now,
The Father meets Coda, told with the visual magic of Soul and the cultural specificity of a Mira Nair film.
Hopefully I can scale to a feature film one day
