Well deserved. Nothing on this project approaches the highs of his best works but DLDT is remarkably consistent. Every single song is dope in it's own right with the weakest link possibly being D4L, but even that slaps in the whip so really there are no misses. Never understood the hate. Wouldn't call it a classic because again most of these aren't 5 out of 5 star career standout tracks but I would give every song a solid 4/5.
Might be one of his consistent bodies of work come to think about it, right up there with NWTS. Not his best but most consistent in terms of there being little to no filler.

Yeah these IG pages are quick to call anything that passes 500K gold / 1M platinum

They gotta learn what eligible means

Exactly. Until it's certified through the RIAA, all it's done a certain amount of units.

Lmao but RIAA certified is just when the artist / label actually apply. What’s important is when a reliable confirms its passed 1 mil really

Well both are pertinent. Drake could never apply for the official plat plaque that doesn’t mean it didn’t sell a mil

People need to stop saying something has been certified Gold or Platinum simply because they see a tweet saying it has crossed 1M units. That's not how it works. Nothing is certified until it actually is.

The certification is just admin. It is important when something has sold a million.

Saying something is "certified Platinum" when it isn't is misinformation. They could have easily reposted chartdata's tweet saying it had moved a million units. Claiming it was certified Platinum was false information.

I would argue that War, Chicago Freestyle and Not You Too are album-worthy joints

Regardless DLDT is a solid body of work

Doesn’t really matter. Artists will say that went gold / plat in a week before the RIAA part work done 🤷🏾‍♂️

It ain’t something worth caring abourt. You’re play first week if you sell a mil in a week regardless if the paper work done or not

    They gotta stop too lol

Also ive heard "Mil first week" far more than ive heard "Plat first week"

Yes its a small difference but its worth noting. Either that or RIAA start auto certifying but we both know thats not happening
