    Seeing a lot of 2 star-ish reviews.

I'm not really a Drake fan but I enjoyed this project, my favourite since IYRTITL.

Don't understand why critics are mostly slamming it.

Feel like they're out of touch.

the fact drake doesnt make critic bait, coupled with the fact that drake hate gets clicks, means it is more profitable to be negative

    it is that simple

if he made critic bait then they would be positive because the critics have to keep up a reputation of liking critic bait style music, which in the long run is more profitable than clicks on a single article

More Life has good critical reception. The general public saw it as a bad album.

General public sees DLDT as a bunch of good songs. The critics hate it.

Can't win either way so might as well just enjoy the music.

This project is his shortest, and has the best run of songs in a while with 4-7. It’s loosies but it’s also a really solid drake album.

It’s not even bad.. just insignificant in the greater scope of his discography

That’s why I don’t get why ppl are so up in arms about it (both sides) when it’s literally just loosies packaged together

Guys at this point if you’re still paying attention to what the critics are saying about Drake, you’re dumb af. The man does numbers whether critics like it or not. He’s a worldwide phenomenon. So many records have been broken and he’s surpassed so many great artists. People need to shut up already. Drake’s work speaks for itself.

  • May 5, 2020

Not sure why they critiquing songs that have already been claimed leaks/throwaways.. it just makes a good headline when you attempt to trash an album of the face of music right now

Drizzys literally not obliged to drop anything. He didn’t need to drop this, yet people still want to nit pick everything. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

That's a weird thing to say. Are you solely basing that on your opinion of said artist?

Still trying to figure out why we’re critiquing a mixtape of leaked songs that he didn’t even put together. This is Oliver and Noel’s doing.

    Anything to hate on Drake
Honestly it’s like when Kanye did anything and people(media) would bash him
Especially before the MAGA thing, after that it was a little warranted but not everything is

These are the songs that didn't make the album so the content is less personal/more shallow than his standard. Critics were never gonna rate it highly even though I love it
