Making a thread now cause this book is INSANELY hard, and I can't wait for the show assuming they don't botch it
Concept sounds cool but almost every Apple TV+ show ends up being lame and underwhelming in execution so we’ll see
ordered the book gonna read it before the show drops
If you like it, I def suggest reading Blake Crouch’s follow-up novel “Recursion” as well.
Another sci-fi thriller that might be even better, and last I heard it’s getting a movie too

I am a bit worried by the fact that in Apples recent promo video for their upcoming slate of shows, they had the promo for this towards the end. Not sure that bodes well

Book is good fun but I could see how somebody could not like it or just find it dumb and not like the writing.
I personally enjoyed it a great bit and it was an easy and quick read that doesn’t really slow down until the end.

Sounds like a f***ing lame that doesn’t know how to enjoy fun reads
Also it’s got a 4.13 rating on close to 500k reviews on Goodreads

Yeah it's a great popcorn novel
trailer
Looks solid, but also kind of hard to tell what the vibe will be from the trailer. Looks like they gave it a good budget though
Dropped, and getting mixed reviews, curious what yall think
first episode was solid but didn't blow me away
Solid first two episodes. Definitely feel like I enjoyed it more because I’ve read the book though (my wife who didn’t read the book, didn’t really like it.
Still feel like this would’ve been much better suited to being a movie tho
