my LB review:
"Great film with even better performances. Really funny too, which I kinda expected. Some of the dialog is a bit off and sounds more like it belongs in a Netflix Original romcom lmao.
I can tell the ending isn't gonna hit with everyone, but for me it was perfect."
also gonna add as soon as i saw in the credits that it was based on a play, i
was like yeah that makes sense. It's such a self contained film even when you disregard that it only takes place in one apartment.
As soon as it ended I said to myself, as good as this was I probably wouldn't watch it again. But I've already changed my mind and i'm for sure gonna be watching it again as soon it comes out online
was fine tbh, didnt love it as most people are, found it very shallow at times, fraser and sink were great though but got taken out of the film quite a few times cause the crowd was laughing at moments that were clearly meant to be sentimental lol….
I can see that tbh and I understand why a lot of people aren't liking it
I disagree with the last bit though, I feel like a lot of the film was intentionally funny, even the sentimental parts
spoilered the last part just cos OP did but if you wanna read theirs and mine it's just about the tone of the film not anything about the plot
