Found a pdf of the play and read it. It's from a website dedicated to the play so I don't think it's problematic:

It's really good and I recommend it. It's got everything you'd expect from a Darren movie (He's sticking to the religious theme rollercoaster). He's clearly going to take some artistic liberties as usual with his adaptations.

Tbh I feel like I've already seen the movie in my head.

I also really hope Brendan Fraser doesn't get super fat for real because of method acting bollocks and PR. 600lbs is seriously dangerous.
