Further proof UK rap has lapped America
UK Rap has fell off in recent years tbh, but this is a good album. Simz also had a good album this year

Bashy had an incredible album drop last year if you haven’t heard it. Being Poor Is Expensive

I never got round to it actually. Tjanks for reminding me, I'll need to give it a listen
OK this album grew on me heavy. Great album def a mood based album perfect for the rainy London nights (if I was there).

“Replayability” is the dumbest s*** ever and a completely made-up criteria for good music. This album is incredible

In terms of consumerism yea. But a lot of times impactful music isnt always the one that you can replay the most

That still doesn't make the replayability factor just a product of mindless consumerism either, and I'm not even referring to this album.

yeah no
If the music is impactful you'll play that s*** for years and years, im not talking about a hit that you play 3 times a day for a week and forget it even existed

Didn't say its a product of mindless consumerism, wasn't tryna speak in absolutes, replayability can still be important. But great art isnt inherently tied with great replayability, but a lot of people think so because of consumerism
This album is the final proof that US hip-hop (at least the mainstream acts) is no longer superior to it's global counterparts, tbh.
Fantastic record. From the concept, production, writing, etc. His best album, IMO.
On a sidenote, Jim Legxacy will be one of the biggest hip-hop artists in the world in 5 years. Dude is GOATed.
