Juice WRLD type music but with comedic elements and self deprecating humor and over the top, almost cartoonish bars.
The obesity adds to the realness (and comedy aspect) of his lyrics too, I’m so serious. You cannot be happy when you’re that huge
Not to mention his vocals just sound good. Definitely a talented guy

Even if he is what does it matter? Idk why yall think every artist has to have some lasting career and become a legend or whatever for their music to have value or be good.
I think yall should be more open minded cause bro really is a good song writer. He has fans interested in his lore and story all because if the way he tells stories in his lyrics. His music is very personal.
Why you think all these rappers and fans keep telling him “we need you healthy bro we want you around”? Because they see the potential in him.

Ice spice made some good music, represented and put on for New York females around that era. She had an interesting look and made the NY music at the time from the female perspective. Just because she wasn’t able to sustain it doesn’t take anything away from what she was able to achieve.
And as for Dave blunts don’t you realize most of the memes come from his own lyrics? He blew up off of his appearance combined with his lyrics and delivery. You keep saying he’s a meme like it’s a bad thing. He made himself a meme, his lyrics have a comedic element to them. He’s influenced by the Judd apatow era of comedies. It’s all by design
Admittedly, I thought Ice Spice would diverse her sound by bringing in more songwriters and additional producers while still primarily working with RiotUSA. I think she could have had a long run if she did that.
Unfortunately, that's not what happened and her run was cut short.
