    Synopsis

And how do you think he'd go about implementing it

executive order - the same way bernie would if he so chooses. zero chance establishment in both parties allow it to pass

bernie could join aoc's new pac, but i dont see how that would change things. its a good idea but i think its a bit optimistic

The only way they could possibly overturn it is by constitutional amendment. any executive order would not be held up by the courts. so overturning it is mostly a pipe dream but i trust sanders more than anyone to pass it, even tho its not likely.

False. Alaska’s economy is largely based in oil and to make up for it, they have a UBI.

It’s not hard to imagine. Instead of providing a service that would normally cost money, Yang would rather just provide the money.

It’s way less radical than overhauling a whole industry

Again try and deploy that on a large scale not just to Alaska.

If we do more about money in politics medicare for all is much easier

The point is that it was implemented on a state level in a state with one of the worse economies.

It’s not hard to imagine it working on a federal level where the economy would play a larger role. Andrew Yang plans on funding UBI by taxing Amazon and Google, companies that use OUR information but pay no taxes.

And again... why is it easier for you to imagine an overhaul of a private industry than the government sending out checks everything month? Whatever way you cut it - things cost money.

Because all Bernie is doing is expanding Medicare coverage down lower segments of the age bracket each year. Expanding a program that already exists and is popular.

He wants to expand it so everyone is in it. Of all the candidates’ proposals - it is the most costly.

He wants to get rid of private insurance.. do you know how many people will be out of jobs? He wants to pay for that as well.

See no reason why they can't just have their contracts bought by the govt

The government probably wouldn’t need that many employees and it’d be another thing we’d pay for.

All I’m saying is Bernie’s ideas aren’t any more reasonable than a UBI and if anything it’s much more complicated.

can we just elect a woman already so we can move on

they clearly only want a woman for novelty purposes, rather than someone who expresses true leadership qualities. Get it over with not because im mygynostic but because I want to see the turn out. Then we can start voting for people who deserve it, rather than DNC deciding who should be the nominee.
