While I think rape jokes are generally in poor taste and seldomly funny I don't agree with the rationale here. There are always going to be jokes that offend certain people that doesn't mean they can't be funny. I'm sure a joke about 9/11 is extremely hurtful to some people, I'm sure jokes about drunk driving are extremely hurtful to some people, I'm sure jokes about addiction and overdose are extremely hurtful to some people, etc drawing a hard line and saying something can never be joked about under any circumstance isn't right imo
