He really thought of everything, even you and I in this very specific interaction, the man with the plan
God i have so many memories of bowie, my mom put me on to labyrinth when i was very young cause that was her favorite movie. Had a ludo stuffed animal and everything
yea people still trying to paint him as a full blown pedo is wild to me
what he did was obviously morally wrong.
but i mean the 70's and early 80's were a different f***ing time plus mans was off his s*** for almost the entirety of the 70's.
idk how else to explain it but it sounds so cliche and trite but yea
if he was really this predator type figure there would've been so much more wild s*** coming out
I read a thread which obviously might be a delusional fan sticking up for his favorite artist but it was pretty convincing. Im not one to doubt victims but the facts he lined up are pretty convincing

but just that the lori chick changed her story multiple times is already a bit suspect
but yea they all did f***ed up s*** in those time periods, it is what it is
Damn they love Fame, huh? Lol.
Nice work though. That’s pretty interesting.
I'm pretty sure Bowie said for years Fame was his favourite song he'd done too.. It could just be their age tho, out of the two proper US hits Bowie had, Fame is definitely the better one to me so maybe they heard it growing up. It's very different to the UK where he had countless hits
Night of the Living Baseheads
Speaking of Takeover I forgot Kanye is the one who produced it therefore we can add Ye to the list
not that he ever shied away from his love for Bowie:

@theDonandOnly
This is a great post
One more you could add, which I would count, is James Brown - Hot I Need to Be Loved..
There's also songs that Bowie lowkey samples unofficially, like he said he used Somewhere Over the Rainbow for Starman

Word? I didn't know that about Fame being his favorite but that makes sense actually
Also I think the reason Fame is so sampled is not only was biggest hit but also the most sampled one that slaps without having to redo much really, Bowie didn’t have lots of songs groovy like that

True.. altho surely other singles from that period like Golden Years could have worked just as well
