Went through the Berlin Trilogy over the last couple days and now I’m on Scary Monsters

Definitely feeling how much more accessible it is than Heroes and Lodger are

not to spoil your listening experience but you about to enter the mid territory of his 80s era

still always a handful of good to great songs on each album but the mid to late 80s were def not his high point artistically speaking(have to blame lets dance for that tho).

thank god he turned it around once more in the 90s

I’m fairly certain I’m going to listen to Let’s Dance and circle my way back around to the beginning of his discography

I’ve heard ziggy stardust but not any other of his pre station to station albums

Basically listening to a Bowie album a day rn, revisiting all of the classics as it’s been too long for some of them. Not going in any specific order either, which has been interesting. Started with Diamond Dogs, Low yesterday and Ziggy Stardust a bit ago. Anxious to see how my album rankings look when I finish up.

I haven’t listened to some of the later Bowie albums really, outside of Blackstar. The ones I have heard it’s been ages since. I’m trying to listen to every single one this time though.

Went with Heroes tonight, always a solid choice not sure how I’m gonna rank these albums though

the next day and heathen are some of his best albums imo (esp. the next day)
so its def. worth it

scary monsters has my fav bowie song on it so i rate it prett highly in his discog for that fact alone lmao

u can def. skip some of his 80s albums tho (like tonight or never let me down) couple of worthwhile songs, but overall you ain't missing much.
also "hours" his last 90s album is just meh imo

I think Let’s Dance is where I stopped last time I went through his discography bc id heard the rest of the 80s stuff wasn’t that great.
