maybe it has to do with the fact it's the first Bowie album I ever heard idk lol

i think i prefer low just bc its a bit darker, colder and moodier but i also heard heroes first before i even knew what the berlin trilogy even referred to lol

can't go wrong with either thats for sure

Big facts dude's got multiple 10/10 albums

got a great and well rounded discog
u got the clumsy beginnings, the absolute classics, the underrated gems, the total missteps and then the renaissance arc and lastly the mature and grown up late career statements

It amazes me he released one of his top 5 songs ever in-between his 2 s***tiest albums

thats the thing he always had some magic in him even in his "dry years"

Have you peeped the 2018 remix of Never Let Me Down? I've always been curious to check it out but idk how much different it is from the original

not the full thing just some songs, need to get around to that tho heard many people say they made the album "listenable"

never hated the album like that got one of my all time fav bowie songs on there and some other standouts on there as well but yea the production on that album was its biggest enemy

Real for Low> “Heroes” I prefer the ambient songs of Low more than those on the latter. Overall I like the striped back experimentation of it in contrast to “Heroes” which sound more layered imo

Beauty and the Beast slaps tho
It’s the perfect opening for the follow up to Low. The guitarist said they used his first take straight off the plane.
