the one thing i don’t like about this whole juggalo culture is the ignorance. i don’t scold the music, the kids need their own outlet, i get it. that’s what they chose.

but this is where i object:

i saw video on youtube where the parents were giving their child faygo soda out of a baby bottle (not milk but faygo soda 😳) . it made me think of child abuse but two people who didn’t know the inherent dangers.

this is mike judge prophecy coming true. he told us the future in idiocracy, actual nourishment would be looked down on. instead of faygo it was brawndo.

Ignorance is an understatement. Most of the guys I work with don’t even listen to rap except for ICP, they won’t even have a conversation about other artists. It drives me nuts because how can you just close off an entire genre.

But yes, I think it’s nice the lost causes found something to be apart of.

I tell people this all the time but A dj in Detroit called mojo had the whole city listening to kraftwerk- prince - cybotron - you name it - he would play underground techno, newest funk records. He received high ratings.

One time he said if anyone is listening flash the lights in their car or house, the whole city was lit up with lights at that moment.

Now why were so many people listening to this crazy dude on the radio? No one wants to be compartmentalized.

Which just goes to show, music was never meant to be segregated & he was the only dj in that city who understood that people wouldn’t complain if it wasn’t something they weren’t exposed to, they would keep listening even if it was really strange.

We pretend to think that there are only ‘ ‘ these artists to care about, but the truth is.....we will never know how many it really is.

As soon as you open the door to just another country. It’s endless. 😳

Totally. I don’t think we really have rules, other than just keep it chill and drama free.

thats really cool, I wish people played good tunes on the radio here but sadly radio is pretty much dead.

Also, I wish people would be more open, however I do think it also has something to do with how much time you spend listening to music, because if you arent actively listening and consuming music on the regular you don't have much of a drive to find and discover new things.
