The delivery and flow on the verses are top notch but the fact that Drake directly manufactured a song for Tik Tok with a lazy dance & hook is really disappointing :/
I feel you. If you don’t like it, you don’t like it. It’s good that you dont blindly stan like a lot of people do. I feel like that keeps artists from challenging themselves and just making safe, boring music.
I hope pandering to tiktok trends doesn’t become the new norm for all of our favorite artists.

Lol I got you. I’m civil until people aren’t civil with me. And you’ve been nothing but cool in any interaction I’ve had with you, so it’s all good. I really liked that Chicago Freestyle song, was kinda hoping his music would trend that direction.

@Zaywop and you're right man, it's just the epitome of MID. like it's 5/10 song, literally just radio music, i dont know why its being praised for something that basically has been done a million times before. 2000's babies are VERY lost when it comes to this genre, i dont want to sound like an old man, but like they take stanning to a new level. when we were younger a few years ago, and an aritist released s***, i woulnd't just be bandwagoning like they all do. they act like you have to pretend to like stuff to fit in, smh.

How do we feel about Toosie Slide ? You guys are really unbiased lol
In my opinion it’s really bland, I don’t find the song catchy & the music video is so lazy
There’s legit nothing special about this song which is upsetting because Drake has always had phenomenal pop records excluding To The Max & I’m Upset
It's not awful. Hook is catchy but it jus leaves a bad taste n my mouth w how blatantly manufactured it is to have a lil social media dance chalenge bulshit w it. Felt the same about uzi futsal shuffle 2

I agree, even when he comes out with a dance song or hit it at least has something positive coming out of it. Even hotline bling I was still able to play months after it released because it sounded tight, but this song just sounds lazy
you're right, I think he's trying to take advantage of the fact kids are at home and the fact that tik tok seems to be getting more popular with them.. he just wanted a dance song for them
i personally think it's gonna age terribly and nobody will play it in a few weeks,

Pretty much what happened to me. He left and I watched the next season but I was pretty over it by that point.
