    Yeah, 90s and early 2000s was when skyline and the other spots were pretty bad, everything in the whole city is getting gentrified more every year so everywhere is pretty lax tbh. They used to call the lincoln vs morse football game the ghetto bowl and ppl would actually shoot those games up occasionally

    yeah i heard about that. Idk if it's really tuff out there like that as much as it is ppl just being poor nowadays

    More and more transplants are moving to the city, along with a steady flow of military ppl from out of the area moving here too, causes a lot of rent increases and gentrification throughout the city. A lot of native sd ppl are moving out of the city due to this, or just more east towards el🤮cajon🤮
    But yeah, sd is pretty gentrified which is why i cringe everytime i see these rappers from the area tryna pop up knowing good and damn well they got nothing to talk about lol

    north county wack now cause it's always been rich white ppl but everyone remembers they're rich now so everything lame as f*** we got nothing to do except eat at overpriced restaurants or go to the f***ing outlet malls I gotta go way south to do s*** but I'm never gonna admit it to anyone irl imma swear we SD cause we're in the county still

    don't think I could ever live here long-term

    Yeah yall live hella far from the city and really dont got s*** to do besides hitting the beach. I always feel bad for yall needing to uber to downtown from north county till i learned some of those rich white kids just be booking hotels/airbnbs for a weekend when they wanna go out to the clubs
    Seems like a nice place to live in retirement if you come from that old white money and can afford that s***
