As long as it took em to get Reeves Batman going....this s*** is definitely not happening
Let Reeves just run all of Batman on his own. Give Affleck a miniseries to tell his story and then call it a day
I f*** with it. Normalizing this will allow directors to make more unique movies without having to worry about the tone and continuity of the DCEU. They can use dimensional shake ups to bring the best elements together if they wanted to. We get more movies instead of being stuck with a s***ty iteration indefinitely.
And if it’s successful, maybe we’ll see Marvel allowing directors to take more risks on some of their characters as well for standalone movies that don’t have to bend to the MCU plot lines.
I know that in comics there are always different iterations of the same character running concurrently in different universes, but there’s something about the medium of film that I don’t think that concept translates well to. Unless the various iterations are DRASTICALLY different so the reason for the variety is actually earned, but then again I don’t see DC actually doing anything too left field with the character that would serve the purpose of having multiple concurrent franchises.
Not to mention the countless other great heroes that DC has that they could instead be making stories about, but they would rather milk their cash cow dry by pooling millions of dollars into multiple interpretations of him when that money and budget could be going towards other characters.
I love Batman but I just feel like too much is too much and there are other unknown characters that could become household names if adapted correctly.
Pattinson x Pattison would be cool assuming The Batman delivers as well as a subsequent movie. I don't trust DC that much though.
Watching the same character at two different timelines at the same time sounds very intriguing. I wouldn't trust DC that much either I agree
Let Reeves’ vision play out to be great tf
It can still play out to be great
Niggas can't eem get a Flash movie off the ground,
talmbout anotha Batman movie.
DC pretty much invented the multiverse stuff in comics so it shouldn’t be a big deal. All that matters is if it’s good or not
It can still play out to be great
You don’t think Batman fatigue will be a serious issue with two Batmen franchises going on at the same time?
You don’t think Batman fatigue will be a serious issue with two Batmen franchises going on at the same time?
Not if it's Beyond, but yeah if it's just another present day Batman (or worse, some nigga in the past a la Joker) then yeah
You don’t think Batman fatigue will be a serious issue with two Batmen franchises going on at the same time?
I don't think so. Especially with one Batman being Year 1 and the other Batman being old af.
Hoping for batman beyond
Weren't they talking about keeping Keaton around to be a mentor also?

Think that's for Batgirl though

Since we're already here
Think that's for Batgirl though
why not both at this point. cus its DCEU so are they making some other random dude Batman? It'd either have to be a Bruce Wayne or Batman Beyond scenario
Really doubt Batgirl ever happening tho they've been talking about it for too many years. Reeves has a better chance of introducing her first
