The use of Guru on that was incredible. I feel a lot of parallels between this album and Digable’s Blowout Comb, it’s weird. Similar jazzy feel and the heavy use of female vocals also gives me the feeling they were pulling from DPs.

I don’t mean to compare for the sake of it, but Pos on Buhloone Mindstate and Stakes is High is a cut above Tip and the Phifer imo, I think he deserves more spect
