From what I have read thus far this could go several different ways:
1. He killed her because she was either threatening to expose him or just simply to leave him. She was dismembered according to reports and that usually means something personal.
2. He paid someone to do it for either of those two reasons.
3. He owed someone money, didn't pay up and they killed her to send a message to him (IDK how likely this is though).
4. It's also possible that someone else he was romantically involved with killed her.
This guy's career is over and he needs to be in prison right now.
It's also possible that she overdosed (if he was supplying her d****) and he didn't call the police because he'd get charged then he tried to cover it up by hiding her body

Smacked VoodooAnime/manga can exist. But it's important to become very aware of its effect on people and how it specifically tends to draw out a lot of weirdos and dangerous people.
Now is that the fault if the medium? Nah of course not, it's always gonna be on the people who consume it. But one has to ask why it is that anime/manga oftentimes produces some of the weirdest and most vile people who commit these wild and deranged acts.
