MusicMafia was the first online leak marketplace no? June 2017. And they started out leaking Drake and Kanye songs, not your trash arm warmer wearing adlib music.
i've heard of it but it wasnt as toxic, prevalent and affecting artists consistently. realistically leak culture's been dating back since the late 2000s and leaks have been around since the 90s
oh yeah also forgot about his grooming tweets
Reminder that she was no older than 11/12 at the age of this tweet

People magazine:
‘Not too long ago, d4vd was a reclusive, homeschooled boy obsessed with gaming.’

Let’s kill him

First we found out the victim was supposed to be 15 when they found her.
Then we found out she was 12 when she joined and became active in his discord.
Now it’s been revealed he knew her since she was at least 11 and was flirting

With the medical examiner describing her as “severely decomposed” when they found her and her birthday being just 10 days ago she was most likely 14 at the time of her death, I don’t think she even reached 15

Longer than that, bootleg recordings of artists' unreleased music have been circulating since compact cassettes were invented pretty much. But that's different to the 90s/00s culture of full albums leaking on the internet months before release, which is in turn different from the 2010s/2020s leak culture built around snippets, marketplaces, trackers, et cetera. All I wanted to point out is that you zoomie hip-hop fans are clueless to events in hip-hop that happened not even a decade ago, and give yourselves and the trash new gen rappers you stan false credits for being the first to do XYZ. But this really isn't the thread for it

i read this in jordan peterson voice for some reason
has he still not been arrested? assuming the public information is true this seems like as open and closed a case as there gets with more than enough info to charge and arrest him.
